How to view and turn on integrations in Liquid. 

While logged in to Liquid as a Hirer, navigate to Business Settings. Under Business Settings, click on Integrations. Here, you can view all the integrations that your company has access to. 

Bill.com “Integration” via Email: connecting Liquid to your payments platform

With Liquid Integrations, you can connect Liquid to Bill.com via email. Your invoices will appear automatically in Bill.com. Now you can manage your freelancers in Liquid while making the payments through Bill.com.

How to Integrate Liquid and Bill.com

  • Within Bill.com, set-up your Bill.com Inbox to create a unique email address for receiving invoices.
  • Within the Liquid Business Settings —> Integrations section, find and turn on “Email Integrations” by pressing the relevant toggle button.
  • In the “Enter email address” prompt for “Email Integrations”, add your unique Bill.com Inbox email address.
  • Voila, you’ve turned on Liquid email integrations for Bill.com!

Once you login to your Bill.com account, you will find the invoice in your Inbox — ready to pay at your discretion.

Xero “Integration” via Email: connecting Liquid to your accounting software 

If using an accounting platform that supports email integration, you can use this integration to have all your Liquid invoices (invoices received by your company on Liquid) appear automatically in your accounting platform. With Liquid Integrations, customers can have invoices appear automatically in Xero.

How to Integrate Liquid and Xero

  • Login to Xero to find and copy your Xero bills email address
  • Within the Liquid Business Settings —> Integrations section, find and turn on “Email Integrations” by pressing the relevant toggle button.
  • In the “Enter email address” prompt for “Email Integrations”, add your unique Xero bills email address.
  • Congratulations, you’ve turned on Liquid email integrations for Xero!

Now you can process payments for freelancers or create financial reports related to freelancer costs in Xero.

Other Use Cases for Liquid’s Email Integration Feature

In addition to using this feature to connect Liquid with your payment platform or accounting software, you can also use Liquid’s email integrations for many other situations. You can use this feature to send copies of all invoices to any email address you choose. 

Perhaps you have an accountant or other Accounts Payable (AP) person who should be copied on all invoices. Maybe you need all invoices sent to a separate email address you use for archival purposes. You may want to send all invoices to yourself, possibly so you can forward them to your Wave account. Or perhaps you want to automatically upload your invoices to Box.com or another cloud file storage platform.
